EGR is a shortcut to exhaust gas recirculation. The system is used in vehicles equipped with an internal combustion piston engine. It is designed to reduce impurities in combustible gases. The main reason for applying this solution is to ensure that it reduces as much as possible the nitrous oxide (NOX) emitted by automobiles.
AdBlue is a special fluid used in the SCR system (Selective Catalytic Reduction). It is a water solution containing urea at 32.5% of the nominal concentration. The main reason for using AdBlue is to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions. Unfortunately, this system creates very high costs.
The diesel particulate filter, called DPF or FAP, is a filter immediately after the turbocharger and is specially designed to reduce the diesel particulate matter/ash scale. The purpose of this filter is to create cleaner / more environmentally friendly exhaust gases released into the atmosphere.
The Launch Control system is named differently in each vehicle brand, but in order to use Launch Control, electronic stability and traction systems such as ESP must be removed first. In ESP systems with Sport mode, mode is changed or Launch Control is activated with the button.
